The client

Montblanc has been renowned for generations as a maker of sophisticated writing instruments. The brand developed into a diversified luxury brand, a true Maison for Writing Instruments, Watches, Jewellery and  Leather.  Montblanc is a truly international brand with over 400 boutiques in more than 70 countries.

The challenge

Several years ago, Virada created sales training for Montblanc’s UK sales teams and this training continues today.  The UK sales results were so impressive that Montblanc saw an opportunity to expand this success globally across the organisation.

Virada was therefore asked to create a unified, global sales training programme that would:

  • Replicate the success of the UK training across all the other countries.
  • Ensure consistency of the Montblanc sales approach throughout the world.
  • Support the global image of the Montblanc brand.

It was time for Virada to step outside the UK and prove ourselves on this prestigious international stage.

The solution

We used our design skills to adapt our UK sales training so that it would:

  • Recognise and cater for the wealth of cultures across Montblanc.
  • Make an impact even in different languages.
  • Achieve consistency of training delivery for Montblanc throughout the world.

The programme was rolled out internationally and continues today.

The result
